Will Crypto Tech Like Cardano Become a Primary Tool of World Governments?
Blockchain technology, including smart contracts, could usher in a new era of governmental capabilities
The political system of every nation regulates and monitors a vast network of data and services necessary for the day-to-day life of its people and the governance of their country. With such power, and often differing opinions of how ways should be run, it’s little surprise that leaders can face significant challenges. Is it possible that governments could eventually turn to crypto blockchain technology and its decentralized model of smart contracts? Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson certainly believes that there is a growing swell of support for this and that it will be only a matter of time the change will become reality.
Speaking last weekend at the Cardano Summit 2021, Hoskinson touched on a wide variety of topics, as he was eager to share his faith in the potential in the future for crypto, and especially for his Cardano and its ADA tokens. As opposed to it being a passing fad or fitting into more of a niche use, he believes the tip of the iceberg hasn’t even been reached when it becomes more apparent how its potential can help individuals and then the systems that govern them.
