Why Mark Cuban Believes Elon Musk Will Actually Use Twitter To Launch Huge Future AI Plan

Although billionaire and Tesla CEO Elon Musk has repeatedly said that his motivation for buying social media platform Twitter last year was to encourage and conserve free speech, the often erratic direction of the company since then has left some scratching their collective heads. However, fellow billionaire businessman Mark Cuban believes he knows what Musk’s long term plan is, and that’s to use it as a launchpad for a huge artificial intelligence (AI) system of his own.

According to Yahoo!’s Christiaan Hetzner, Cuban is convinced that instead of simply being a champion of free speech, Musk has much more specific intentions in mind when it comes to his Twitter end game. The mega investor and owner of the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks explained:

“When Elon Musk goes out of his way to engage with and promote the accounts and tweets of people who disagree with him, then I’ll believe he is about free speech.”
