US Government Stance On Mysterious Drone Sightings Makes Little Sense
Unusual reguarly occurring drone flights of unknown origins or purpose have vexed millions over the past several weeks
Over the past few weeks, rampant sightings of mysterious drones (some as large as SUVs) in the night skies above a number of east coast states has generated puzzlement and alarm. This has been ramped up by the inability of authorities to identify what they are and who is responsible for them. However, the response from the US government to these unusual happenings is not making sense.
I’m no fan of conspiracy theories but the ongoing saga of the drones is a growing enigma that is just not adding up. They have been widely seen and reported in locations over New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Ohio, Virginia and Maryland. While the federal government has assured the public that they pose no security threat, they also indicate that they have not been able to identify what they are, where they came from or who is responsible for them.
Therein, lies the obvious problem. If there is really no information about what these drones are, how can they possibly be dismissed as non-threats? This isn’t to inject added urgency where it’s not warranted but it’s a fallacy to say what…
