The Tutor Who Staved Off Bankruptcy With G-Rated Math Lessons On Pornhub
Seeking to save his failing business, one educator took his teaching services to the largest porn website in the world
Being in business for yourself is a constant struggle. It’s great when things are going well, but when it heads south life can turn upside down in a hurry. Professional Taiwanese math tutor Shun-Wei Chang discovered that the hard way when he was forced out of business last year and fell into crippling debt. However, through his strange yet ingenious idea of posting non-sexual math lessons on popular adult website Pornhub, he was able to stave off bankruptcy and find a new lease on his professional life.
Koh Ewe of Vice recently reported on the unusual story of Chang. The 34-year-old math tutor ran his own “Cram-school” (a popular type of tutoring center in Asia) in Hsinchu, Taiwan when he discovered last year that one of his employees opened up their own center in the same building. Quickly losing students, he was effectively forced out of business while ringing up the equivalent of about $36,000 in debt.
