The Popular Texas Cheerleader Accused Of Poisoning A Rival’s Show Goat Named Willy

The intensity of competition and rivalry can drive people to take an at all costs approach. If applied in a positive manner, that can be a good way to approach things. However, the second there are no longer any limitations, things can go off the rails very quickly. That seems to be what happened in the case of a 17-year-old Texas cheerleader, who was recently arrested for allegedly poisoning the show goat of a rival.

The small town of Cedar Park, Texas was rocked by the news that a local 17-year-old high school cheerleader has been charged with felony animal cruelty for allegedly poisoning and killing a 15-year-old classmate’s show goat.

Aubrey Vanlandingham, a popular senior at Vista Ridge High School, was taken into custody on November 22nd, following an investigation into the death of a six-month-old goat named Willy. Vanlandingham, who is also the president of the school’s Future Farmers of America (FFA) program, is now facing serious consequences if found guilty.
