The 2 Countries That Data Shows Americans Believe Are Better Than The United States
The US is certainly a world leader but its own citizens don’t even think it’s the best country in the world
Waving flags and chants of “USA, USA” are all common indicators of American patriotism. It is also a frequent refrain of citizens that there is no better place in the world to live. However, a recent survey showed that such adulation may be lip service to some, as data shows that there are actually two countries out there that Americans believe are better than the United States.
An annual survey conducted by U.S. News revealed that there’s no place like home for Americans unless you’re talking about two other nations from different parts of the world.
Polling more than 17,000 respondents, it was determined that collectively, Americans believe that the United States is the third best country in the world. Those polled believed the U.S. is surpassed by two others:
