Some More Things We’d Really Like To See From Monterey Bay F.C.
The USL Championship club has continued building its fan base during their three years of existence
Earlier this season, we dove into some things we thought would be excellent updates to the Monterey Bay fan experience. Now, with a quarter of the 2024 season left, we’re back with some additional suggestions that we believe would be great ways to continue building the Union fan base.
These suggestions are not written as a criticism, nor are they an indication that hard work isn’t being done daily by the team. Rather, they are observations by us, the fans, of what we think should be updated or changed as ways to provide even more excitement and ways to participate for those interested in the team.
Advertising: During the three years of existence, I can’t recall seeing an instance of advertising Monterey Bay F.C. in print or on television and radio. Building a fan base depends on continuously attracting new fans and those just casually interested in attending matches. Although advertising costs money, I’d love to see what impact doing so might have in the long run in making the greater Peninsula area aware of the tremendous soccer being played right here in our community.
