Polestar Has Started Deliveries of Single-Engine Polestar 2 to Canada

The EV manufacturer has expanded its territory once again with a key market in North America

The rapidly growing luxury EV manufacturer Polestar has reached yet another milestone in its attempt to stretch across the globe. Deliveries of their single-engine Polestar 2, which is currently the company’s best blend of range and price, have begun in Canada.

As Polestar awaits the finalization of a merger via SPAC with Gores Guggenheim, Inc. (GGPI), the EV world is experiencing a race between numerous companies working furiously to establish themselves as industry leaders. Polestar has been producing well-received quality vehicles since 2017. In 2020, they reported around $645 million in revenue, which WCCTech indicates was more than 600% growth relative to 2019. They then followed that up by selling 29,000 vehicles in 2021, which represented a 185% increase in sales year over year.

Polestar has shown no signs of slowing down, as they project to sell 290,000 vehicles in 2025. Their Polestar 2 is an all-electric sedan that focuses on being built from sustainable quality materials, including a premium vegan interior, and producing high-end performance at reasonable prices.
