New US Tesla Buyers Must Take Mandatory FSD Self Driving Demo To Get Their Vehicle

Even though Tesla has been at the forefront of electric vehicle technology for years, their full bore march towards making self-driving cars a common reality has set them even further apart from competition. They have worked diligently to improve their autonomous capabilities, and fully expect this to be norm rather than the exception within a matter of years. To help educate customers about these buregoning features, CEO Elon Musk is reportedly resorting to an extreme measure — requiring all new American customers to complete a FSD (Full Self Driving) demo before taking possession of their new Tesla.

The Tesla website describes the current capabilities of their Auto pilot and FSD features:
