Legendary NFL QB Tom Brady to Focus on NFT Development in Retirement
The recently retired football star already knows what he will be doing without a ball in his hands
After 22 glorious seasons in the NFL, quarterback Tom Brady just officially announced his retirement. Although he will no longer be throwing passes for a living, he has made clear he still intends to stay very busy, including expanding his growing NFT platform.
Playing for the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Brady led seven teams to Super Bowl Championships, including being the only player to win one in three different decades. Along the way he picked up five Super Bowl MVP awards and currently holds the league record for the most passing yards (84,520) and touchdowns thrown (624) in the regular season. He will be a clear-cut Hall-of-Famer when he becomes eligible, but in the meantime he is quickly pivoting to new ventures.
Isabelle Lee of Markets Insider reported that Brady addressed on his personal Instagram account what he plans to do moving forward now that he will no longer be quarterbacking.
