Apple’s Rumored Virtual Reality Headset Could Jolt VR Market
VR could get much hotter if Apple drops their long anticipated headset and it proves to be as popular as many of their other products
Apple is one of the largest and most trusted companies in the world. Their products are used by a vast number of people across the globe, meaning that when they release something new, attention is paid with great rapture. Accordingly, the fact that their long-rumored virtual reality headset appears to be gaining more steam has started rumblings as some believe that if it comes to fruition it has the potential to greatly shake up the VR space.
Alexandra Garfinkle, Senior Reporter for Yahoo! Finance, recently wrote about the increasing buzz surrounding a rumored Apple VR headset, which if true, could prove to be a major gateway for the average consumer to be exposed to virtual reality.
IDC Research Director Ramon Llamas explained what could happen within VR if the headset is released and is as popular as so many other Apple products:
