Americans Distrustful Of Cryptocurrency But Still Very Open To Its Future According To Study

Crypto still has a ways to go to find widespread adoption in the United States, but the majority of people haven’t formed an opinion one way or the other yet

Depending on what area of the world you live in, cryptocurrency may be regarded in very different ways. Although it has made great strides in the United States, the country is still very much in the early stages of adoption. Indeed, a recent study shows that there is a significant number of people who distrust crypto, but more than anything else there also appears to be a strong sense of openness among Americans to learn more, which bodes well for the future of the space.

NBC News recently polled 1,000 Americans on their familiarity and use of cryptocurrency (The poll surveyed 1,000 adults between March 18- 22 and had a margin of error of plus/minus 3.1%). The findings, as reported by CNBC’s Thomas Franck, both showed that crypto has not caught on with a vast majority of people in the country and that there is also reason to believe that could change for the positive in the future.
